Ever since 1964 the United States passed The Civil Rights Act and although a great amount has changed, many things are still very reminiscent of segregation days. Over the past 30 years, police brutality in this country against African Americans has become more noticeable thanks to television and social media with examples reaching as far back as Rodney King in 1991 to more recent cases such as Freddie Gray in 2015 and George Floyd just a few days ago. Protests and riots are nothing new but very few changes are taking place.
With this shirt we are hoping to do our part in not only bringing focus to such a serious topic to create change but also by donating proceeds to the National Bailout to free as many African Americans as possible (especially while we fight this COVID-19 pandemic)
